My client is a leading IT Services, BPO and Consulting organisation. Due to continued growth across Europe, they are looking to secure a senior Practice Manager / Business Development Manager to run their their e-business practice, based from either London, France or Germany, selling into the Telecoms / Financial Services markets.
You will be responsible for sales and revenue targets, effectively positioning the company to leverage sales of solutions/services. Required to support sales team and account managers in presentation of the companies offerings and work effectively with offshore based pre-sales team in shaping consulting, RFP/RFI responses, solutions and presentations.
Your background:-
• To be experienced selling a broad range of services – IT, BPO and Consulting
• Be comfortable managing revenue streams of $10m upwards.
• Fluent in English with Some French or German
• Knowledge of financial services or telecommunications markets
• Strong track record of sales target achievement
• Should have broad range of experience in e-business
• Architect/Solutions Architect and Project Management experience
• Required to be consultative/solution oriented in selling to customers
• Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, pre-sales, business development and marketing activities in taking e-business Solutions/Services/Software to market in the IT services industry
• Strong client base and senior stakeholder relationships
• Coming from a leading local e-Business or Tier 1/Tier 2 global IT services company
• Knowledge of offshoring and Indian SI companies preferred, but not essential
