Outstanding opportunity for helpdesk support / desktop support personnel to join expanding, international IT company. Working as a Deployment Support Consultant you will join our clients’ systems integration department. You will ensure all systems receive the latest software and that data patches are released in a reliable and controlled way. You will deploy new software and platforms and support all new technologies that have been introduced. You should have 12 months experience working in a helpdesk, 1st line support / 2nd line support or desktop support environment and you must have some commercial experience using SQL Server.

Skills and experience necessary for the post:
- Working knowledge of all current Microsoft Operating Systems
- Practical experience using Microsoft SQL 2000 and SQL 2005
- At least 1 years experience of working within a support environment
- Linux knowledge is desirable but not essential
- Exposure to Web maintenance [such as using PHP] desirable but not essential
- The ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team
- VMware Workstation knowledge is desirable but not essential
